NAPA YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE (NYSL), IN AFFILIATION WITH PURE POTENTIAL SOCCER, WILL OFFER "SOCCER PLAY DATES" THIS WINTER TO THE YOUTH SOCCER PLAYERS OF NAPA.
" Soccer Play Dates" are a safe place for the youth of our community to help develop their Individual and team soccer skills with no pressure and lots of FUN!
Age groups start with Under - 6 and go up to Under - 11.
Play dates will be held light rain or shine, but not in moderate or heavy rain.
The play date program is schedule on SATURDAYS a 2 and half-hour session covering similar topics.
- Soccer Players Warm-up Exercises:
- Running with proper body balance
- Proper stretching
- Speed and Agility exercises
- Speed and Agility competition exercises with the ball
- Ball Control
- Passing
- Dribbling
- Shooting
- Team Small Game Scrimmages:
- 4 V 4
- 5 V 5
- 6 V 6
DATES: We will kick off our first Soccer Play Date with the " Turkey Bowl " on Thanksgiving weekend,
- SATURDAY 11 / 28 / 09 at 9:00am.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THE PLAY DATES EVERY SATURDAY ON TILL NOTICE

TIME: From 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
NEW LOCATION: Silverado Middle School " TURF " ( Football ) field.
ADDRESS: 1133 Coombsville Rd Napa.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Bring proper soccer apparel: soccer cleats, shin guards, socks, and shorts. Also bring plenty of water and always apply lots of sunscreen if needed.
COST: $5 per player currently registered with NYSL / NVSC. If not currently registered, a one - time $25 registration fee is required per player for all Soccer Play Dates this winter.

"Parent Coaching " Clinics are also available at the cost of $25 per parent coach. These will be two - hour clinics that cover basic " Age appropriate " training and development.
- Please sign - up at the Play Date Check - In booth for upcoming Coaches Clinics.
